The Magic Revealed

with Shannon Paige, Nancy Kate Williams Rau, and Gina Caputo, Jason Bowman, and Special Guests

August 8 – 11, 2013, RISE Module, 30 CEU

The Magic Revealed is a Core Module of the Signature OM TIME RISE PROGRAM.  It is aimed to unpack the frame of authenticity that underpins the overt offering of experience. As teachers of contemporary yoga, we tap into the skill set of offering sound asana, well-sequenced progressions, and classes full of meaning.  However, in our development of skill and the focus and practice that entails, we are sometimes only able to scratch the surface of the deeper wisdom teachings. It takes a grand weaving of intention, attention, and sacred community to go into the deeper teachings that reveal the magic and potential of an embodied yoga practice.  We will take a deep dive into both the Yoga Sutras and Bhagavad Gita over this weekend, sourcing them beyond the general themes discussed in a 200 Hour yoga teacher training.  We will look into several of the finessed aspects of teaching that divide the good teachers from the great teachers:  your OWN evolutionary sequencing, serving advanced students, creation of a “state of being” / healing state in class, and how your personal gifts can help you carve a unique niche in an ever burgeoning yoga industry.

From this weekend intensive take these skills:

  • Cultivating an authentic “State of Being” as a Container.
  • YOUR Sequencing:  Sourcing all that you know, making it your OWN.
  • Effective Hands on Adjustments in Advancing Asana.
  • Expressive Understanding and Ability to Source and Resource The Bhagavad Gita.
  • Expressive Understanding and Ability to Source and Resource The Yoga Sutras.
  • Live Your Gifts:  Determining and Carving YOUR Niche.
