The Mind Falls in Love with the Heart Intensive
Join Shannon Paige and Nancy Kate Williams for this rich and engaging Teacher’s Study. As a Main Module of our RISE, 300 hour Teacher’s Development Program, this is intensive is focused upon confident and authentic self-expression as a teacher of the Hatha Yoga. Learning to weave meaning into each class is a challenge, a charm, and a skill to be massaged. The voice that carries that theme, to be toned, tuned, and given a leap into being HEARD effectively.
This installation of the MIND FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE HEART will proceed across the telling of a tale, Hanuman’s devotion and the story of The Ramayana. From this weekend intensive take these skills: Sourcing Powerful Themes, Effective Weaving of Theme, Using Your Voice as a Tool of Pacing, Engaging, and Offering Your Classroom Teaching (Projection, Active and Passive Voice Discernment, Lilt, and Rhythm). In addition, we will look at the effective sequencing and teaching of deep forward folds, twists, inversions, as well as deepening a practice of meditation, pranayama and mantra.
The intensive will meet May 24 – 27, with a schedule of: Thursday, 6p – 9p; Friday, 9a – 9p; Saturday, 9a – 9p; and Sunday, 9a – 12p. Join us! Investment is $495 for the individual weekend – OR apply for om time’s CORE RISE PROGRAM 300 / 500 hour Yoga Teachers Training with ROLLING Enrollment.
